Advance

Advance is a community based group designed to integrate isolated members of society back into the community through outdoor activities, education & social integration whilst raising self-esteem, confidence & motivation.” Advance are a group providing support to individuals who may otherwise become isolated from the rest of the community. Although our group is inclusive and open to all, at the moment it is mainly made up of men who have previously accessed other services from statutory and voluntary agencies in the way of drug, alcohol and mental health services. We plan to target the ‘hard to reach’ audience within this area of high deprivation.
