Ouseburn Farm

Ouseburn Farm is a community led project located in the Lower Ouseburn Valley, just a mile from Newcastle city centre. The farm has farm animals, reptiles, a cafe, orchard, garden, retail space, small animal room and more. The farm is open to visitors and offers workshops and volunteer placements.

They support people with learning difficulties or disabilities, autism or people with mental health problems, to take part in farming activities, volunteer placements and creative activities.

The farm helps people to be active, spend time in open space to feel the restorative effects of nature. This in physical exercise can improve health, self esteem and confidence You can self-refer or request a referral through an agency such as a social worker, health care professional, voluntary sector organisation.
