Sprouts Community Food Charity

OUR Mission Our mission is to improve the nutritional, physical and mental health and wellbeing of the community, in particular the people of Stockton and Thornaby. Our objectives are to address the health inequalities in the borough by running community shops, lunch clubs, cooking workshops, community gardens and family pop up events. We work with children, adults, vulnerable and BAME communities, continuously working towards upskilling these communities through our community cooking workshops and Level 2 Food Hygiene training. We reduce food waste by collecting surplus food from local supermarkets to provide for free in our non-judgemental ‘no referral needed’ community shops
