Mental Health Matters South Tyneside Supported Accommodation

We provide support for people with mental health needs in South Tyneside to help them be able to gain and maintain their own homes.
Our Recovery Coaching Team will help with skills such as:

Maintaining a tenancy
Staying safe at home
Budgeting money and paying bills
Applying for appropriate welfare benefits
Developing life skills to live independently
Maintaining physical and mental wellbeing
Accessing the local community
Shopping and cooking healthy meals
Developing a peer support network
Moving on to independent living
We also offer Floating Support for people who already have a home of their own.
